Let me briefly introduce myself.
My name is Paul from Miaoli. I've been teaching English at a local language center in Miaoli for 10 years, and teaching English is where my passion is. Teaching students how to write and speak in English is what I am good at. In my spare time, I love traveling, reading, and running. I hope I can share my knowledge and love with students, and make them become better English learners.
1. Work experience工作經驗
I've been teaching English at a local language center in Miaoli for 10 years.
我在苗栗的一間本地的語言中心教英文10年了。
這句也可以改成 I’ve been working as a PPP at a CCC for YYY.
PPP可以替換為工作職稱(position)：例如IT engineer(IT工程師)、buyer(採購員)、sales assistant(業務助理)…etc.
CCC可以替換為公司名稱(company)：例如TSMC(台積電)、Yuasa Battery(湯淺電池)…etc.
也可以換成公司類型：a shoe manufacturer(一間製鞋廠)、a travel agency(一間旅行社)、a car dealership(一間車商)…etc
YYY則是你的年資，可以任意替換成你的工作年資。
綜合以上，一位在鞋廠工作2年半的採購員就可以說：
I have been working as a buyer at a shoe manufacturer for 2 years and a half.
2. Your Passion熱忱
…teaching English is where my passion is.
句型：…is where my passion is.(我熱愛…。)
可以用這句說明自己對工作的熱愛，…的部分請帶入”名詞”或”動名詞”。
例如：
Introducing the best products is where my passion is.(我熱愛介紹最好的產品。)
Bargaining with suppliers is where my passion is.(我熱愛與供應商爭取價格。)
類似的句型也可以說：
…is what I like./ … is where my interest is. / …is what I’m interested in. / …is what I’m passionate about.
3. Skills 技能
Teaching students how to write and speak in English is what I am good at.
教導學生如何寫、說英文是我的專長。
句型： … is what I am good at. / I am good at …。
可以用這句說明自己的技能，…的部分請帶入”名詞”或”動名詞”。
例如：
Finding loopholes is what I am good at.(抓程式漏洞是我的強項。)
Dealing with customers’ complaints is what I am good at.(處理客人的抱怨是我的強項。)
以上三點是自我介紹最重要的東西，家庭背景、興趣、未來展望都屬次要，因此要多熟記以上三點的基本說法唷！當然，你也一定會在網路上、課堂上、書籍中找到很多五花八門的表達方式，但自我介紹的重心仍要擺在：經驗、熱忱、技能上唷！
